Upgraded to this press from the Columbia/MPO one. This is a tale spun on vinyl. What sets this apart from your typical vinyl bought at a department store is the soundstage and the depth of the instruments.

Bought this brand new, still in its packaging. I was a bit worried since it's such a soft album with lots of quiet moments and open space in the tracks. But I was happily surprised. There's a tiny bit of record noise but no crackles or pops. When I first opened it, side 1 was full of dust, grime, and smudges. Side 2 wasn't much cleaner. Wiping it down helped, but some smudges just won't budge. The sound quality is pretty decent, but it seems the CD version might be clearer and more open. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the messy packaging from the factory. I'll definitely give this record a spin in the right setting, especially since a VG or G original pressing might be too pricey for me. This one was new for $21.99 on Amazon.
