The audio is absolutely flawless, with crystal-clear sound from start to finish, and the visuals are stunning. It's a significant improvement over my 1995 version.
Picking up this gem at a small record shop in NYC, the clerk was shocked they even had it. I couldn't get enough of this album for days on end. The sound quality is crisp and the dynamics are absolutely stunning. Hands down, this is the best sounding Slowdive record in my collection.
Haven't used this in ages, so I gave it a whirl through the Degritter before playing. Absolutely spotless pressing with not a peep of surface noise from start to finish. Grab this if you're a fan, you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended!
MOV's Slowdive reissues have really caught my attention, and I must say, Pygmalion is the top of the line in terms of sound quality. The audio is incredibly crisp and detailed, it's like the music is enveloping the entire room. The background noise is minimal, so when the opening chords of Rutti fade out, you can hear the silence. Miranda, another personal favorite, showcases Rachel's haunting vocals with a depth that's truly captivating. The marbling on the purple 180 g vinyl is quite understated but still looks great, and the record comes in a high-quality, laminated sleeve with a rainbow effect that I'm quite fond of.
Amazing pressing .. Perfect, totally silent, no pops or clicks .. Simply perfect .. And the color is soooo gorgeous !!! Grab it without hesitation !!!
