Having heard my In Rainbows version, this one doesn't quite match up. It comes across as a bit squashed, lacking the openness and dynamism it ought to have.
I've never encountered a record pressing as terrible as this one. Stop purchasing the subpar vinyl that Radiohead is releasing. Plus, since I bought it directly from Bandcamp, they're ignoring my emails about a return or refund. Radiohead, you need to totally overhaul and fire your vinyl suppliers, as it's an absolute mess.
After comparing this 2015 edition to the 2017 OKNOTOK, which is often praised, I must say the latter didn't quite make the cut. This release here sounds far more organic, with a bass that's more natural and not as overpowering. The dimensionality is improved, particularly the depth, and there's less compression. A good high-end system should definitely bring out these differences ...
This vinyl is the most warped in my collection, much worse than the CD version. Stay away.
