Both discs aren't flawlessly flat, but they're nicely centered. The pressing is alright, with a few clicks and some light surface noise during quiet parts and between songs. There are a handful of pops (mainly on side D3), but it's not too bothersome overall. The mix has way more bass than any digital version I've listened to, making it sound a bit muddy and slow, which is a letdown. Apart from that, the soundstage is immersive and spacious. 4.6 / 5
Pressing is flawless, nothing to complain about and it sounds incredible. Right up there with the top ones I own. Might as well mention I gave this a good clean before playing.
My pressing is a total disaster - just like every other XL release I own. The sound is all muddled, and there's tons of clicks & pops. Steer clear of this one.
OMG, this is absolutely breathtaking to look at. The shiny lettering and beautiful illustrations are even on the inside where the vinyl records sit.
This record is among the finest sounding ones I've come across. It's incredibly spacious and dynamic. There's no surface noise or clicks to be heard. As always, the optimal pressings are fantastic.
