Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
While I'm not usually into "jazz fusion" or "jazz fiddle," this album still manages to be quite enjoyable despite those elements popping up now and then. The synth soundscapes are fantastic, and the occasional vocoder tracks add a unique touch. It's a pleasant, upbeat, and atmospheric listen, with just the right amount of fusion-cheesiness that doesn't overdo it for my tastes. I wouldn't necessarily blast this through speakers in a group setting, but it's perfect for headphone listening.
If you're a fan of Jean Luc Ponty, don't hesitate to grab this album. It's the most melodic and rhythmic of all his work that I've listened to.
