The audio quality is impressive and the vinyl is quiet. However, I've noticed that the soundstage appears a bit narrow, which might be due to the mastering process. Has anyone else experienced this or have any insights to share?

  • Zappa Tribute Must-Have

    4 out of 5 stars
    Amey_IAugust 5, 2025United StatesπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

For any Zappa enthusiast, this album is a must-have. It's the ultimate instrumental, jazz-infused tribute to some of Zappa's finest works from the '60s, even featuring a track written by JLP. Many members of the Mothers contribute here, and Zappa himself lends his guitar skills to Ponty's composition. As I don't own any other Ponty albums, I've added this to my Zappa collection. Funny enough, my labels are completely empty. (Does anyone else have this issue with this specific release?)

For any Zappa enthusiast, this album is an absolute must-have. It's the ultimate instrumental, jazz-infused tribute to some of Zappa's finest works from the '60s, even featuring a piece by JLP. Many members of the Mothers contribute to this, and Zappa himself joins in on guitar for Ponty's track. I don't own any other Ponty albums, so I've added this to my Zappa collection. Funny enough, my labels are totally blank. (Does anyone else have this issue with this specific release?)
