Terrible pressing quality. There's so much hiss and crackle in both albums... just another disappointment in terms of quality during the Covid times.
The gatefold is quite nice, but the inner sleeves are of poor quality, causing static and surface noise. I took the time to clean the LPs and put them in MoFi-style inner sleeves, which reduced most of the noise. However, the audio quality and 'remastering' aren't up to par. To compare, I also bought Jill Scott's debut on vinyl, remastered the same year as 'My Life', and the sound is far superior. Don't spend a lot on this pressing of 'My Life'.
