After some hesitation, I decided to get this remastered version. I won't dwell on the remaster debate, but this pressing is quite good, even if it doesn't knock my socks off. The sound quality is excellent, and the vinyl itself is top-notch. The records arrived spotless, with zero surface noise. I'm a big fan of the plastic sleeves included here, which I find better than paper or even poly-lined paper sleeves. I usually swap out sleeves for Mofi-style ones anyway, and these plastic sleeves definitely help keep the vinyl clean. No pesky paper flakes to deal with. 4.5/5.
Definitely my favorite sounding vinyl... now I get why it's so pricey.
Enjoyable to listen to, yet nearly every song seems to come from a distinct source. ‘The Everlasting Gaze’ and ‘Stand Inside Your Love’ are top-notch in quality, but a good portion of the other tracks fall short in both quality and volume.
Awful quality, it's all flat, squashed, boring, and dead. Blah blah blah.
Billy’s supporters seem just as complaining as he does. This track appears totally alright and I haven’t heard any Pumpkins since Adore so who am I to judge. I simply think this sounds rather cool.
