JC's performance on ACL is a true classic. The production is spotless and crisp. The sound quality is top-notch, with records playing smoothly, no background noise, no unnecessary fill, no IGD, and no harsh sibilance. The bass is strong, the highs are bright, and the mids are just right for JC's vocal range. Overall, it's an outstanding recording of JC's set at ACL!
Truly fantastic! The Man In Black's voice is powerful and the tunes are classic Cash. Discs are flat and spotless. A fantastic purchase.
I'm in agreement with the initial review. Grab this as soon as you spot it. It sounds fantastic, even better than the band's performance on the Folsom album. I keep stumbling upon hidden treasures at Walmart and Target. Pretty neat, huh?

This album has a great appearance and the sound quality is impressive for a live recording. Sadly, like nearly every Newbury “exclusive” I’ve purchased, it has a skip (and yes, I do know how to properly clean my records, even the brand new ones!). Track 1 on Side 2 is affected. Not worth the hassle of returning it as the issue is minor, and I’ve experienced this before with replacements having the same problem. Johnny’s performance, however, is fantastic.
