These "demo" versions are absolutely stunning and truly give the song a fresh, somewhat more somber, perspective. They could've easily passed them off as a remix and a dub, and no one would've batted an eye - those days of demos being rough, low-quality sketches hastily recorded on deteriorating tape are long behind us, for good or ill.
