  • Aphex Twin's Standout Moment

    5 out of 5 stars
    XipdiisDecember 12, 2025United StatesπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Alongside SAW, this stands as RDJ's most steady work to this point. Post this, he carried on crafting superb and forward-thinking tunes, but it did miss out on some of that enchantment found on the earlier albums. In summary, a standout moment for Aphex Twin. Every track here boasts a distinct flavor and structure, unlike his later works that sometimes include a few less brilliant pieces to round out the CD. Essential listen.

  • Silent Vinyl Excellence

    Jofl_ltefNovember 12, 2025United StatesπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

completely quiet, not a single crackle or pop to be heard. i'm also a huge fan of that 180 gram vinyl feel, so it's definitely a standout in my collection ❀️

  • Identifying Sides, Sound Quality

    4 out of 5 stars
    retjcofzoaydkuellSeptember 26, 2025United StatesπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

In my opinion, the sound quality is quite good, though not flawless. A few tracks might seem a bit off, but I believe that's due to the production style. For those who need help distinguishing the sides, here's a handy tip:Side one: Check the album title. The big 'I' in 'I Care Because You Do' resembles the Roman numeral for 1Side two: Look at the album cover. You'll notice two nostrils on the noseSide three: Observe the barcode. Counting from the right, the third digit is a 3Side four: This side lists all the tracks. There are four sides in totalThe cover of this album is your face when you've successfully used this guide and learned which side is which (you're now content)

  • Awesome Vinyl Re-Release

    5 out of 5 stars
    pySeptember 23, 2025United StatesπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

This is an awesome pressing of an awesome album, it's not a remastered version, just a re-release on 180g vinyl. If you give the records a good clean with distilled water and add a stabilizer, the sound is absolutely incredible.

  • Thin Groove, Weak Ends

    3 out of 5 stars
    tiowedaduegogitoncSeptember 17, 2025United StatesπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Sounds a bit on the thin side most of the time. Really shines in the heart of the groove, but stumbles a bit at the ends (right where Alberto Balsam usually shines)
