This 2017 photo version of the 1977 classic "Going For The One" is surprisingly hushed. Great volume range, well done. Not too shabby for a copy that just lingered at Barnes & Noble in Tempe Marketplace for roughly four years. They eventually slashed the price to about $14. I thought to myself today, "This needs a home, sick of seeing it just sit there" It was still sealed.

Fantastic album, but the pressing is terrible. It's full of pops and cracks. I've got records from 30 years ago that sound way better than this one.

Exploding with energy and then softening to a whisper, Yes brings back the concise song structures not heard since "Fragile". Anderson, Howe, Squire, Wakeman, and White serve up a complete package of fantastic arrangements and skillful performances. Frequently underrated, it's truly a highlight in Yes' later discography. Check it out!

This late-era album is seriously overlooked. It's actually pretty impressive, especially after the previous two, it was definitely due. They also put on an amazing tour for it. Caught two shows on that run. If you're into classic Yes, give this one a listen.

While it won't ever be an audiophile masterpiece, I concur that this might just be the finest pressing to date. It accentuates the mid to high frequencies, much like some Japanese pressings, but without a doubt, it's the clearest and most open version I've encountered.
