My version is terrible. The title song is particularly bad. Really let down by this, given how nice the pressing looks.
This album is absolutely amazing. It touches me in ways I'd rather not talk about. The woman singing on the main track has such a heavenly voice. My version plays and sounds just right.
There's a tad of surface noise on my version, but apart from that, it's quite decent. I appreciate the direction he's taken, and I'm looking forward to the next album. However, I wasn't QUITE as blown away by this one as I was by his previous records.
This pressing is fantastic, not a peep of noise from my copy. All in all, it's just a superb sounding record.
My version: Side one is awesome, no issues here. Side two has some hiss now and then. The Palace has hiss throughout. The Songwriter is the worst as it's full of pops. Otherwise, it would've been a top-notch pressing.
