This album is absolutely amazing! There isn't a single track I don't love! But, the LP pressings are truly disappointing! I purchased two copies, both brand new and sealed - one with the 45 and one without. Unfortunately, both have identical skips in the same songs on Side B. It's particularly bad on "Friend Better," making that whole song unplayable. Even Side 2 of the 45 has skips. I'm really hoping they release a reissue and sort out these issues.
I'm really into the music. I've got plenty of JJ's stuff, but this one's my favorite to play. The sound quality is really good, though it's not his absolute best. My copy is fantastic, no issues at all. It's flat, not off center, no fillers, and no surface noise – it's great.
