I received my copy today and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. I was only familiar with about a quarter of the songs, so it was great to discover more "new" McCartney tunes. The mastering quality is impressive on my system; I played it without cleaning it first and it's definitely one of the best sounding "straight out of the sleeve" records I've played. As usual, my favorites were the sequence of tracks on the B-side, "Little Willow", and of course "Beautiful Night" (which sounds even more stunning this time around)!

Lacking poly sleeves, but that's alright. Ultimately, the album was peaceful, no bend and the audio is awesome. The tracks sound crisp and energetic.

HEAD'S UP: My star rating isn't about the album's quality, but the pressing's - I hadn't spotted any side B issues in past reviews. Yet, that's the side I found full of crackles. Sides C and D were perfect, crystal clear. Side B surprised me with that dreaded campfire sound, though - Too bad, since "Calico Skies" is on that side. I'll check back after giving side B a wet clean to see if that fixes the problem.
