Well-packaged 3LP set featuring awesome artwork, lyrics & a download card. The sound quality is fantastic. This might just be LUs best work yet. 20 tracks that are pure treasures. The band's got that raw edge, killer guitars, and short jams, all blended with Lucinda's amazing lyrics & that distinctive voice. So stoked I snagged a vinyl copy. A+.
Exceptionally well recorded! This sounds fantastic! The songs are fantastic! I'm a huge fan of her earlier work, and this is fantastic too! If you're into Lucinda, this is the album for you! Very fantastic 3 record set!
In my opinion, vinyl pressings such as this are the reason we tolerate the hassles and expense of vinyl records. Lucinda is an artist who seems tailor-made for vinyl (or perhaps vinyl was designed for artists like her?). Her music is built on acoustic and analog instruments (even when electric guitars are plugged in, they're not digital), and the natural sound waves on analog formats like vinyl deliver a warmth and richness that even the highest quality streaming can't replicate. With three LPs, this set does take up some space and has a substantial weight - but it's all worthwhile! The packaging is awesome, vibrant, and informative, and the sound quality captured by my DynaVector 10x5 cartridge on a Rega P6 transforms my listening room into a tribute to one of Americana's brightest stars.
Picked this up a few days ago and I'm obsessed with this album. I'm a huge fan of her music, but this one and 'Car Wheels' might just be her best work. Every track is absolutely fantastic.
