Product description

Nick Millevoi's "Digital Reaction" is a high-octane, genre-defying journey released on Ropeadope on July 14, 2023. Clocking in at just under 36 minutes, this 10-track album is a testament to Millevoi's virtuosic guitar work and his ability to blend a myriad of styles seamlessly. From industrial rap to nightmarish jazz-fusion and bent guitar abstractions, "Digital Reaction" is a sonic gallery that showcases Millevoi's wide-ranging musical gumption, reminiscent of Marc Ribot's Atomic Dog but with his own unique stamp.

Inspired by movement—be it dancing, running, biking, or driving—Millevoi crafts a soundscape that is both dynamic and engaging. Tracks like "Dyno My Ride" and "Rock & Roll Start" kick off the album with a punch, while "Creepy Jawn" and "Orest Mercator" delve into more experimental territories. The album's brevity is its strength, with each track packed with intensity and innovation.

"Digital Reaction" is not just an album; it's an experience. Millevoi's electric and acoustic guitar work is complemented by featured performers, including Bryan Murray, Ron Stabinsky, and Johnny DeBlase, adding layers of depth and texture to the music. Whether you're a fan of jazz, rock, or experimental music, "Digital Reaction" offers something fresh and exciting. So, plug in your headphones and let Nick Millevoi take you on a sonic adventure.

About Nick Millevoi

Nick Millevoi is a versatile guitarist and composer whose music is a thrilling journey through the entire spectrum of electric guitar music, from the early days of rock & roll and surf to the most extreme and noisy frontiers. As a senior editor at Premier Guitar and co-host of the 100 Guitarists podcast, Nick brings his insatiable curiosity and deep knowledge to his work as both a journalist and a musician.
