Received my copy early from the Wilco shop. It looks fantastic. It sounds fantastic too.
This vinyl record is nearly perfect. It's got a solid feel to it and the edges are smooth and flat. The sound is rich and there's barely any noise. The DBM record label, dBpm, looks really great. I'd love if the packaging was a bit more impressive, but other than that, it's just about ideal.
The vinyl's audio is sharp and distinct, with a nice ringing quality. After a few plays, any surface hiss faded away. It's quite different from Cruel Country, but both are definitely worth grabbing on black vinyl.
The vinyl edition of "Floral Ice" comes straight from Wilco. This album is absolutely fantastic… possibly one of their finest in recent times! It's quite distinct from any other Wilco release… they continually evolve and manage to keep their sound fresh and innovative with each new album.
This album proved that this band isn't done yet. Getting some outside assistance was just what they needed to get their groove back. The tracks are fantastic, and the vinyl quality is top-notch too. Plus, the color of the vinyl is pretty cool.
