Overall, my vinyl sounds fantastic. There's a bit of hiss and crackles that you can hear during the quieter sections of some tracks. I grabbed it for under twenty-five bucks, so I ain't gonna gripe about it too much. Might still pick up the reissue/remaster to do a comparison and to get the bonus tracks.
I can't say enough good things about this Reissue, Remastered SMLP70 version. The sound quality is absolutely top-notch for audiophiles, and the packaging is really impressive. My copy doesn't have a single pop or click.
The mastering is identical to the 2010 and 2016 versions. Discs are level, perfectly centered with hardly any surface noise. The colors look fantastic, and the sound quality is top-notch. Instruments are crisp and clear, the bass is excellent, and the vocals really stand out.
