Unboxed a fresh, sealed vinyl, only to spot a massive scratch on Side B's surface. I'm baffled how such a flawed product passed factory inspection. Fortunately, Side A's got the "bangers," and the vinyl itself wasn't too pricey. Still, come on, step up the Quality Control for these items!
This album is fantastic, but the pressing is terrible and the sound is weak. They should reissue it on 180g, let's start a campaign for this!
I just got it and sadly, I'm on the same page with the mixed reviews... This record's sound quality is not great... Awesome album, but the LP version is a letdown...in my opinion...
Incredible album, though the press quality is a bit muddy and sounds underwater at times. Quite let down. 3/5
I must say, this album has caught me off guard. When you compare it to the reissues of Origin of Symmetry and Absolution, this one actually sounds quite decent to me. It's not top-notch, but it's definitely a step up from the last two.
