  This collection isn't that impressive. ABBA has around 20 solid tracks. Volume 2 seems unnecessary. I'll hold onto it, but I wouldn't suggest it to others.

  I've got this version, and maybe I shouldn't admit this, but I genuinely don't get the high price tag - it's a tad quiet and the sound is rather dull, nowhere near as good as ABBA Gold.

  The range of tracks is quite decent, and the CD works well for playing in the background. The booklet is high quality and visually appealing. The audio is excellent, though I'd prefer more variation in volume. However, the ABBA records I own from the 80s, as well as the ABBA Gold CD "ABBA - Gold (Greatest Hits)," sound better to my ears. I personally prefer individual albums, not just from ABBA. The length of the tracklist feels a bit too long for me, which is why I usually go for albums that fit on one LP. Give it a listen and enjoy...Played on: Denon DCD-1550AR, Digital Coax, Technics SU-G700M2, Yamaha NS-777.

  ABBA were incredibly gifted, both in their vocals and, even more so, in their songwriting. Just choose any track from this collection and indulge in the finest pop music ever created.

  Where ABBA's Gold brought joy, More ABBA Gold feels like the sorrow seeping from that supposed bliss. After several listens, this album can be incredibly disheartening. Or perhaps it's a romantic mood on the brink of collapse. Tracks like The Day Before You Came recount the moments leading up to meeting your soulmate - but there's something so mundane and gloomy about it all. The brilliance of Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' music and lyrics lies in its relatability, but acknowledging such romantic aspirations and their potential failures turns it into a dramatic, theatrical piece. It's beautiful and brimming with surface emotions, but if you look beyond their image, you'll find a sense of despair. ABBA is so distinctive and of its own time. Essential pop that doesn't necessarily represent its era (the 70's) but exists in its own time-bubble. ABBA reminds me of those artists who create their own world, separate from ours and their own unique realm.
