Initially, I thought my second LP was super warped, but turns out I didn't press it down hard enough in the middle 🤣💀. She's flawless now! The box is gorgeous and matches the color of my record tee, which is the basic loud one, btw. This is definitely my fave Rihanna album, and it looks amazing in that fruity burgundy shade 🥰
I'm not getting what all the fuss is about? This pressing ain't as bad as folks are saying... Is it amazing? Nah, not even close. But it's definitely not terrible! The sound's pretty decent, the dynamics are okay, there's hardly any pops or clicks, and the vocals and music are mostly clear and easy to hear! Remember, this is a 2012 album with a bunch of EDM and dubstep stuff. Mastering this must've been a real challenge. The packaging is adorable. I love how Rihanna's body is shiny, while the rest of the cover is matte. Not a huge fan of the gatefold photos though. They look like screenshots from early 2010s Twitter or something. The discs feel heavy and there's also a sheet with the credits and some art included.
De platen hebben een beetje een vervorming, wat over het algemeen niet zo erg is, maar 'Stay' klinkt behoorlijk slecht. Het is alsof je naar een picture disc luistert. Ik zou liever hebben als de platen en de hoes dikker waren - ik heb moeite om de platen terug in hun hoesjes te krijgen.
