As soon as I started using it, there's a hissing sound. It's brand new! I've attempted to clean it a few times, might have to take it to a shop for a deep ultrasonic clean. Same issue I've had with silver Prodigy album discs. These are different from black LP's, they look adorable but can easily cause you more trouble. When the songs actually play, they sound great, the bass is punchy too, no issues there. It's just that irritating hissing noise between tracks.
All in all, the pressing is pretty decent for not being your typical black vinyl. It's a tad on the quiet side, though. I'm not sure if the mastering was intentionally turned down a couple of decibels or if it's just a result of the stamper process. Apart from that, it sounds great on vinyl. Turn it up and let your setup do its thing. The background noise fits the vibe. I'm really enjoying it.
Pretty good all around with a solid dynamic range, powerful bass, and not too harsh on the high end. The comments about the quietness of the pressing might just show a recent dialing back in the “loudness wars.”
Great quality record. It sounds fantastic, with a solid bass. Absolutely no issues here.
