  I'm a big fan of these 2015 MPO pressings..... I've got GOODBYE, and CREAM LIVE VOL.2 from this collection too, and I'm really pleased with them, especially since they're digitally cut LPs .... I also grabbed a few 2015 MPO Island Bob Marley reissues, and they ALL share something with the Cream reissues ....They were all pretty much, dead quiet, flat, centered, and ..... they sound VERY good. And they were quite affordable, relatively speaking. I managed to find a whole bunch this year (2025) to fill in some gaps.Listening to WHITE ROOM, I swear it's like I've never truly heard the BASS in that song ..... it's nice and up front and locked in with the drums, it's like I'm experiencing the song for the 1st time ..... (I've never heard a decent version of this on LP until now. I only had it as a track on an old Clapton compilation LP.Anyway a great CrAnKAbLe double LP !4.5/5 (I usually deduct a full point for digi cut LPs, but they took some care to make this sound gooood. Much appreciated)

  Throughout each Cream album, the band excels in a unique musical aspect. "Fresh Cream" showcases their performance and skill, "Disraeli Gears" highlights their lyrics (with Peter Brown's assistance, of course), and "Goodbye" demonstrates their production prowess. On the expansive double-LP "Wheels Of Fire," the band truly masters the art of creating a musical atmosphere, a crucial element of 1960s rock music. There are a couple of missteps, however, particularly with "Passing The Time" and "Pressed Rat and Warthog." The former starts with a intriguing, intense introduction but unfortunately fizzles into a awkward, repetitive jam. "Pressed Rat and Warthog" is musically sound, but Ginger Baker’s "recitation" spoils the track. "White Room" and "As You Said" stand out as the album’s strongest compositions: "White Room" is an undisputed anthem, while "As You Said" is an underrated psych treasure—its only downfall being the noticeable edit 3/4 through the song, which once you catch, you can't ignore. "Sitting On Top Of The World," "Politician," and "Born Under A Bad Sign" are fantastic blues rockers. "Those Were The Days" and "Deserted Cities of the Heart" further cement my view of the album as an atmospheric triumph. The live portion is also outstanding, though "Toad" outstays its welcome a bit. "Crossroads" is the clear standout of the live disc, but I also appreciate this version of "Spoonful.

  This might not be a reissue, my labels are red Polydor, it's got '1968' etched in the matrix and sounds incredible played with an old 60's Pickering Dust-o-matic needle and XV15 cart. Which would sound 'off' if it was a reissue cut/pressed later on that's meant for a different shaped needle... "Spoonful" sounded the most amazing and crisp I've ever heard. Blew my mind!
