Product Description

"Goodbye" is Cream's final studio album, released on March 1, 1969, under Polydor Records. Clocking in at just over 30 minutes, this concise collection is a powerful blend of classic rock, psychedelic rock, acid rock, and blues rock, showcasing the band's virtuosic musicianship and innovative spirit. The album opens with live recordings of "I'm So Glad" and "Politician," capturing the raw energy and improvisational prowess that Cream was known for. The live track "Sitting On Top Of The World" recorded at The Forum in Los Angeles in 1968, further highlights their dynamic stage presence. Original tracks like "Badge" and "Doing That Scrapyard Thing" demonstrate the band's ability to fuse bluesy riffs with psychedelic experimentation. "What A Bringdown" closes the album on a reflective note, rounding out a diverse and engaging listen. "Goodbye" is a fitting swan song for Cream, encapsulating their unique sound and leaving a lasting legacy in the world of rock music.

This 2019 Reissue LP is pressed on 180g vinyl.

I got a poster with my order(!) it's like it's Christmas morning all over again

  • Warm Rich Dynamic Pressing

    gvanjoci1 May 2025United States🇺🇸

Excellent pressing - it's warm, rich, and dynamic (though I haven't heard other versions to compare)

  • Cream's Final Flop

    2 out of 5 stars
    fpaseunoqaaxf10 January 2025United States🇺🇸

I concur, this album kinda blows, and I'm a big Cream fan and enjoy this genre. It's not just the mastering, the overall feel is off, I'm glad they called it quits here.

  • Disco Cream: Parte A

    3 out of 5 stars
    Qowiua-08531 December 2024United States🇺🇸

Questo disco, così differente dalla grafica prog., penso riveli la voglia di autocelebrarsi. I primi tre pezzi del lato A sono le pietre miliari dei primi Cream. La side B non l'ho mai sentita e non posso ancora esprimere un giudizio.
