This album sounds fantastic. I believe it's an underrated Van Morrison treasure.
Frequently underrated album towards the close of Van Morrison's golden period. I genuinely like this particular copy. There's honestly not much to complain about with it.
This VM album isn't my top pick but it's decent. The copy I have is solid.
An amazing album from an artist who began his journey inspired by legends like Ray Charles, Solomon Burke, and Sonny Terry. This is practically a perfect record, featuring heartfelt ballads such as 'Santa Fe/Beautiful Obsession', the R&B-infused 'Kingdom Hall', 'Hungry For Your Love', and the title track. 'Wavelength' is exceptional, boasting hand claps, vibrant synth, and a killer guitar solo. 'Natalia' and 'Venice USA' (with its accordion solo) are delightful and uplifting tracks. The backing vocals are gorgeous, the groove is smooth, and the Celtic soul is simply wonderful. It's stylistically consistent with his earlier works. Van Morrison enriches the world with his artistry and music. Wishing him a happy birthday! 31 Aug.
