Honestly, this might be one of the finest Cult records we've heard in ages. The tracks aren't blasted too loud, they're more laid-back and tuneful. Ian's vocals are powerful, thoughtful, and crisp. Billy Duffy's playing is so unique and refined, it's like he's creating a symphony for the songs. The production is sharp and clean.
It's been ages since I last tuned into The Cult, but this album really grabbed my attention! I've got the white vinyl edition. It's a fantastic record, incredibly LOUD and crisp. No doubt, it sounds way better on vinyl than through streaming.
Got my vinyl record today, the sound quality is fantastic, no hiss at all. The Gold vinyl truly shines like gold, not that dull brown color, and it's absolutely gorgeous.
Wow, this album by the brought-back-to-life (!) band is absolutely fantastic, a pure delight to the ears. The sound quality is excellent too, though I did hope for a similar 2 LP / 45rpm experience like with Hidden City.
This album by the ressurected (!) band is fantastic, a pure delight to the ears. The pressing is top-notch too, though I'd have loved to see it get the same 2 LP / 45rpm treatment as Hidden City did.
