Received my copy today. Audio quality is good. None of the problems people talked about before, like the vinyl being bent or the hole not lining up right or too tiny, or any hissing sounds, etc. I can't say how it compares to other versions, but it sounds even to me, and yeah, I've got a pretty solid setup.
The packaging is quite nice and the records are clean, but I have to side with some other comments, the bass is a bit too much and it drowns out the rest of the sound, which is a bit of a letdown... It's not terrible... but it's still disappointing, it had so much potential...
After an eternity of waiting, I finally have this pressing in my hands. It's absolutely stunning and the sound quality is superb. I must say, I'm not a huge fan of the new front sleeve artwork; I preferred the original colors. The yellow vinyl is incredibly cool, though! The bonus tracks are included, and while I'm a big fan of the artist, I feel like the Cosmic Girl DFP Remix was a bit unnecessary. This is an amazing item and definitely worth the price. The music truly shines on vinyl, with that warm, classic 70s production that Jamiroquai is known for. Some of the best tracks from their discography are here, and while it's a more polished, radio-friendly sound compared to their previous albums, I do feel like "Didgerama" is a bit of filler and doesn't quite fit. It could've served as a better transition between songs. I have the same opinion about "Digital Vibrations" – it feels aimless and meandering. All things considered, this album is the band's peak, and they never quite reached this level of greatness again. Their subsequent albums were good, but not quite as exceptional as this one.
Can't argue with the crowd, great pressing, hush-hush, awesome Bass, cool hue, awesome sleeves, really good value for your buck.
My version has some surface noise. Sound-wise, it's alright. To be honest, I don't find it as bass-heavy as others claim, at least not with my setup.
