This remaster is disappointing, with sound levels that are too low and it seems like they cut off the highs and lows. The record itself is awful, mine was super noisy straight from the wrap, lots of loud cracks even after cleaning it a bunch. Steer clear.
Unfortunately, my copy arrived quite bent during delivery and couldn't be swapped out. I'd pre-ordered it on Amazon way before it came out, and by the time I received it and voiced my concern, they were all sold out and couldn't send me a new one. The silver lining is they refunded my money and let me keep the warped copy. The downside? Well, it was SEVERELY WARPED! After a couple of years of being squished between other records and after investing in a better turntable, I finally got to listen to it without any skips and adored it as much as I'd imagined. Maybe someday I'll attempt that oven-baking trick, can't make it any worse... Apart from that, an amazing album (sorry Mr. Wolf, but I gotta disagree with you...).
