This vinyl record sounds absolutely amazing. It's definitely worth every penny. I don't own any other versions to compare it to, but I can't picture them sounding any superior. Just like all other Mofi One-Step releases on super vinyl, this one is incredibly quiet.
Paul Simon delivers another timeless track. It's got that distinct 1975 vibe with the electronic piano. The sound is just fantastic.
Paul Simon never disappoints. This track really brings back the vibes of 1975, especially with that electronic piano. It's simply amazing.
First One Step was quite a letdown. The vinyl's noise is quite noticeable, more than most of my usual MoFis, and the sound isn't *that* much of an upgrade over my RKS remastered version from a few years back. Plus, both my discs have a dish warped. I'm really not happy and unsure if I'd pay their high prices for this kind of quality. The main problem here is RTI, not MoFi, who really need to sort their stuff out.
This is hands down the finest pressing of this iconic album so far. I'd love to see it on 33.3 RPM, as I find the advantages of 45 RPM minimal compared to the hassle of flipping sides mid-listening. But I'm getting off track; this is an absolute must-own! It's incredibly captivating. Among the rare recordings that make me forget my phone even exists! :)
