Sound quality is, as always, flawless. The lineup is fantastic too, packed with loads of New York favorites. Plus, it's affordable, not like that super pricey Massey Hall. What more could you ask for?
Sound quality is fantastic, crowd noise is so low it feels like your right there! For just $13, it's a bargain for your collection.
As I'm writing this, I'm also listening. The sound quality is just breathtaking, you could hear a feather fall during the breaks. Amazing. Moments like these make the whole hobby worthwhile.
I'm always up for grabbing anything Chris Bellman masters, particularly when it's under $25, and this one keeps the winning streak alive. It appears Neil had some fantastic tapes from this gig, with a super quiet background, almost non-existent, so his performance shines through crystal clear (the crowd being well-behaved didn't hurt either). I opted for this one over the Dorothy Chandler version due to the setlist differences ("Down By The River" is missing on the Chandler), and I'm thrilled with my choice.
Decent quality but utterly useless official release of a bootleg audience tape. The audio misses richness and variation. This stuff oughta be on the net, and only pro soundboard recordings should hit vinyl. Pretty much the same songs as “I’m happy y’all…” Still fun to listen to, though. For most folks - steer clear of these bootlegs and grab “Live at Massey Hall 1971” or “Live at the cellar door” 1970 instead.
