In my view, this album stands as one of Eno's finest works, where his fusion of sound and pop music hits its pinnacle, akin to a 90's version of "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts." Already owning the 33 version, I didn't hesitate to grab this new double vinyl edition. The superb quality and quiet vinyl enhance the recording's "air," delivering truly satisfying sound even on modest systems. Eno's sound treatment here reaches exceptional heights, in my humble opinion. For those curious about "Nerve Net," exploring "My Squelchy Life," a double album from which Nerve Net was derived and only officially released in 2015 for RSD, is a must. A definite must-have for any Brian Eno enthusiast.
Take heed to the grandmaster's words! This particular album is absolutely stunning throughout.
In my view, this album stands as one of Eno's finest works, where his fusion of sound and (pop-inspired) music hits its pinnacle; a 90's take on "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts," if you will. Already owning the 33 version, I didn't feel the need for this new double vinyl edition. However, the superb quality and exceptionally quiet vinyl truly enhance the recording, giving it an even more spacious feel. Sonically, it's deeply satisfying, even on systems that aren't top-of-the-line. The sound treatment Eno employed here is, in my humble opinion, exceptionally high. For those curious about "Nerve Net," seeking out "My Squelchy Life," a double album from which "Nerve Net" was derived, might be insightful. It was never officially released until RSD 2015. A must-have for any Brian Eno enthusiast.
hear what the grandmaster has to say! This particular album is stunning from top to bottom.
This version is superb quality. The sound is phenomenal. I adored the artwork and details on the inner sleeves.
