Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
I was genuinely astonished by how quiet the pink vinyl is! Typically, I notice some surface noise with red and pink records. I own a Near Mint original Canadian version of this album, and I must say that this remaster and pressing doesn't offer anything significantly better or worse on the main record. The remasters of "Killer," "School's Out," and "Billion Dollar Babies" were far more impressive. Finding an original copy of "Machine Head" (that hasn't been damaged in the box) can be quite a challenge, so this is a great alternative. It's a faithful remaster with a very cool package - although not as impressive as its predecessors. Musically, it's an fantastic album that's often overlooked. “Love it to Death” to “Muscle of Love” are 5 of the best rock and roll albums of the 70s.
I've got this fantastic album featuring Alice & Co, and it's still in its shrinkwrap !!!
This vinyl really shines after a good ultrasonic cleaning. The sound is fantastic, with a well-balanced mix. The bass is deep and impactful, while all the other elements are sharp and distinct.
