Audio quality is fantastic, true to other SUNN releases. Impeccable craftsmanship. Pristine, scratch-free records. Purchase without hesitation. Crank the volume UP REAL HIGH
The record's sound quality is quite impressive. The cover is top-notch and beautifully decorated with an OBI strip. My sole gripe is that the vinyl is rather thin and tends to warp easily. I wish it was a bit thicker and more sturdy.
Absolutely stunning. This album is more introspective than Life Metal and delves deeper into the Pyroclasts style. The last track, featuring a soaring, melancholic trombone (a standout element from their live performances back then), is truly remarkable. Unfortunately, my copy has quite a bit of surface noise on side 2, which can be distracting. It's a real bummer. Out of the three albums from this era, I find this one the most captivating.
Amazing pressing. I don't often go for coloured vinyl, but since this was a sunn release, I just knew it'd be top-notch. And, as always, sunn never lets me down.
I'm really into this album, but man, the hiss on side A is driving me nuts.
