This album holds a special place in my heart, serving as my introduction to music what feels like nearly two decades ago. I have zero issues with the vinyl's quality; I'm genuinely pleased with the audio, as I was somewhat concerned that the colored variant might compromise the sound. Fortunately, it's fantastic. And of course, the blue vinyl looks great too!
Absolutely stunning visuals and the audio's not bad either. Linkin Park's done it again with this fantastic album.
lousy audio. too much bass, hi-hat all messed up. this vinyl version ain't as good as the digital one, sounds like it was rushed.
For an awesome sounding version of this album, this is the one to get. It's dynamic and has an incredible soundstage, making the songs truly come alive. The hi-hats aren't as harsh as in other pressings I've listened to. With the price dropping to about the same as that standard reissue junk...it's a no-brainer if you care about sound quality.
I was a tad let down by this record version of Meteora, one of my all-time favorite albums. The highs on this pressing are way too sharp and hissy, almost like a low-quality MP3. I digitized it for portability, but I spent over an hour trying to fix those high frequencies. While tweaking the EQ during my A/B tests, I realized that even the Spotify stream had better highs than this pressing, which is a bit embarrassing, to be honest.
