I got the second pressing of the red see-through vinyl straight from Invada. It came in great shape. There were a few tiny crackles that vanished after I gave it a good clean. It's a well-made pressing for such a powerful recording. The music itself is eerie and stunning. It's swiftly become one of my top film scores ever for one of the best movies from 2018. Rest in peace, Jóhann Jóhannsson. What an amazing final piece of work.
The album sounds fantastic, with barely any hiss or clicks. The packaging is gorgeous and feels amazing.
One of the loudest records in my collection. Side 2 is just too much with all the surface noise, can't even listen to it. Tried cleaning it but no luck :(
The music is fantastic but unfortunately, there are more pops and crackles than you'd find in a bowl of Rice Krispies, which is quite irritating for an album filled with quiet yet stunning moments.
Farewell Jóhann, you always delivered, never let us down, this is your swan song. Well done.
