My pressing has the same first 4 runout numbers as the one in the picture, but instead of the green label, mine has the palm tree one. It sounds incredible!
Potrei definirlo uno dei più grandi concerti rock di tutti i tempi, tutto funziona alla perfezione, ne sono state pubblicate 427 versioni uficiali. Possiedo tutti gli album dei Deep Purple in vinile (mi manca solo il terzo) fino a "Come taste a Band", anche se, a mio avviso, l'epoca d'oro si conclude con "Burn". Di "Made in Japan" ho la versione doppia in CD, quindi quando ho visto una ristampa italiana in vinile del 1980 a un prezzo conveniente, non ho potuto fare a meno di prenderla. I brani eseguiti dal vivo elevano l'intera opera a un livello superiore.
Made in Japan" stands alongside "The Song Remains The Same" as one of the greatest live albums ever made. The audio quality of this remaster is amazing, especially given how old the original recording is. Even after half a century, it's still a joy to listen to and never loses its appeal.
Nothing to complain about. SW did a great job on this remix. The whole set is absolutely fantastic. I've got other versions of this album, but this one's now my favorite. If you're unsure, go ahead and get it.
Hadn't listened to any of their other stuff but this track is fantastic. The bass is powerful, the highs are crisp, and the sound stage is impressive. The guitar playing is top-notch.
