I reckon I might have a defective copy. If I shine a light on it, there are tiny bumps, roughly a millimeter big, spread across the record. I spotted at least 5 or 6 of them. When I play it, the sound is fantastic, except when those bumps hit the needle. The pops are quite noticeable and happen right at 33 RPM. Strange, since everyone else seems to think it sounds amazing. I'm guessing it's a manufacturing flaw? Has anyone else encountered this with this pressing or others?
Absolutely legendary on my LP60, heard it said that "dubstep" bass lines can't be done on vinyl, but the mastering genius behind this track proved them all wrong. Definitely worth a listen!
