Rich, vivid, and smooth, akin to the hue of the record. Snatch this treasure up if you stumble upon it. Amazing pressing.

  • Flawless Half-Century Masterpiece

This record is absolutely flawless. Having enjoyed this album for half a century, I can confidently say it's the finest I've ever experienced.

  • Zeppelin Remaster: Good as It Gets

    5 out of 5 stars
    lercosf23 November 2025United States🇺🇸

This remaster improves the high-end slightly compared to my early 80s reissue. But the thing is, Zeppelin recorded the base tracks live using ambient room mikes, so there's no way to separate the drums or bass for remixing or enhancing. They'll never stand out when all the other instruments are playing together on a track. So as much as we'd all love better bass presence on this album, it’s never going to have tremendous depth or refined clarity. In my opinion, this version sounds fantastic and is about as good as this LP is gonna get, outside of some rare specialty pressing. It's worth the money.

  • Disappointing Atlantic 75 Reissue

    2 out of 5 stars
    zrafwrmumh918 November 2025United States🇺🇸

I'm a tad puzzled and maybe even shocked by this record. I was under the impression that Atlantic 75 series reissues were meant to be outstanding. I received this a couple of days back and had a buddy over to spin some new vinyl, and when I played the first track, it was a real letdown—couldn't even get through the song, it was that bad. My friend agreed. It sounded dull and lifeless, the total opposite of what I was expecting. My setup's top-notch, so that's not the issue. I'll give it another shot and try to get my hands on an earlier pressing to compare. I'll update my thoughts if anything changes, but right now, I'm disappointed, especially after reading so many rave reviews. Strange, but I guess that's how it goes sometimes.
