I'm really liking this great print :-) around 1966
Fantastic sounding record, a real joy to listen to, with superb stereophonics and a quiet (post-cleaning) surface. For just 18 Euros, it's a top-notch choice to add this wonderful album to your collection. P.S.: The copy I own has a yellow, white, and grey label and mentions MCPS as the rights owner on the backside.

Absolutely flawless re-release and every one of these 2000's reissues features that MOFI-style inner sleeve done right. I just cracked open one from the shrink wrap (once more) and honestly, I've never spotted a shoddy white paper inner in any of these 2000's USA OJCs
Bill Evans' live trio performances (Vanguard, Paris, Montreaux) stand out as the finest in his collection, brimming with the essence of spontaneous group improvisation, and he fearlessly takes bold, well-thought-out risks on stage. Yet, when it comes to his studio work, this album is right up there with the best, showcasing his meticulous arrangement skills and astonishing technique. Recorded just after the iconic Village Vanguard sessions, this album captures Bill delving into his creative synergy with Chuck Israels. The outcome is a breathtaking release that swings with incredible energy. The piano sound on "How My Heart Sings" is exquisitely captured, featuring a powerful hammer strike and a soft, resonant decay. The bass and drums are recorded and mixed superbly, always stepping back to let the piano shine when needed. Evans honors maestro Brubeck with his unique take on "In Your Own Sweet Way", highlighting a beautifully reimagined bridge. You'll discover a completely fresh "Summertime" here, with some ingenious bass pedaling and reharmonized chords. Personally, I enjoy this more than Portrait and Jazz, Everybody Diggs, and Moonbeams, for what it's worth. It's right up there with Trio '64 for me among the top Bill Evans Trio studio sessions. Snag this if you come across it, the '89 remaster is clearly exceptional. 4.5 stars.
