This record's sound quality is absolutely flawless. I mean, there's not a hint of surface noise. Now, I'm not a fan of any tracks on this album, but I'm giving it 5 stars because I'm solely rating the audio quality, and it's truly exceptional. This pressing feels out of sync with such an inexpensive record. The soundstage spans from left to right and has impressive depth too. Kesha's voice is crisp and centered, making it feel like she's right there in the room with you. The backup singers are positioned in the left and right channels, while the instruments seem to come from the center. Truly an extraordinary pressing. Cartridge used: AT150Sa
There's a bit of surface noise here and there (it's not too bad), and strangely, her voice gets a bit messed up at times [mostly on side A], but the production still sounds rich. The mastering could've been handled better for this album. All in all, it's a fantastic record and I'm happy to have it on vinyl (I'm not sure if the EU version sounds better or if it's mastered/cut differently).
got any hype stickers?? 👀 Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
There's a bit of surface noise (it's not too bad) but oddly, her voice gets a tad distorted at times [mainly on side A], while the production still sounds rich. The mastering could've been handled better for this album. All in all, it's a fantastic record and I'm happy to have it on vinyl (though I'm not sure if the EU version sounds superior or if it's mastered/cut differently).
Overall, my copy sounds quite decent, but there's some surface noise/hissing on the first three tracks, particularly on "tonight," though it's not as noticeable on the other two. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Did I just receive a subpar copy? Regardless, the packaging and design are ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. The back cover & spine of the CD were TERRIBLE, and I'm thrilled they improved it for this version. I adore that the gatefold matches the CD design, and it even includes anti-static sleeves and a massive poster. I'm impressed by the effort they put into this release.
