Arguably one of the greatest albums out there, now finally on vinyl-- and it's coke-white, as it should be. This copy sounds incredible. The Neptunes' production on this album is out of this world, and hearing it on vinyl, particularly with quality headphones, is an absolute delight. I can't wrap my head around the fact that it's still under $20. If you're into Clipse, Pharrell, rap music, Virginia, wild beats, or just enjoyable stuff, then grab this copy ASAP.
Folks must be playing this on some fancy toasters 'cause my copy sounds crisp and shiny, just like it oughta. It's a tad on the quiet side, but the sound is super smooth. Also, this white vinyl looks gorgeous, and the gatefold is the cherry on top.
Awesome pressing! The bass is punchy and the sound is crystal clear. My copy is flat and the colors look fantastic. Also, I'm really impressed with the gatefold cover. It’s a matte textured board with shiny titles. Can’t say how it stacks up against other pressings but it’s definitely unique!
Oh my god, I believed VMP's pressing of Lord Willing pushed my system to its limits! The bass truly hits hard on this pressing. I'd concur with another reviewer that the artwork is a tad faded, but that's genuinely the only notable criticism; the pressing quality and packaging are flawless otherwise.
This fantastic, theme-driven album by Virginia's Clipse brothers showcases some of the gloomiest (and finest) Neptunes beats yet. An atmosphere of unease, suspicion, and fury lingers throughout, with Clipse delivering top-notch material on standout tracks like "Ride Around Shining", "Trill", and "Nightmares".
