This pressing is fantastic. It's perfectly flat and centered. There's a bit of light noise in the grooves between tracks, but it's hardly noticeable. The mix is absolutely stunning, particularly on "Future Games." It's got this amazing, almost Beach Boys-esque feel, reminiscent of their "Surf's Up" album. Rhino has really outdone themselves here. I'm incredibly satisfied. In my opinion, the Bob Welch era is an outstanding period for Fleetwood Mac.

Absolutely one of Fleetwood Mac's finest albums. Danny Kirwan's guitar work here is phenomenal, and Christine Welch's contributions are top-notch. Plus, the vinyl sounds incredible!

The pressing initially: really good in my opinion: cover & disc are thick and very quiet; drums & bass a tad weak perhaps but the overall listening exeperience is quite enjoyable. Now, the album itself: it features many fantastic tracks from the band and definitely one of their masterpieces, thanks to Bob Welsh: "future game"; 8 minutes of pop brilliance.

Fleetwood Mac's Mellow Side: This album is quite peculiar, featuring a bunch of guitar-heavy tracks that can stretch up to 8 minutes long. It's melodic and laid-back, breaking away from the Peter Green days, and the mellow pop vibe is quite distinct from the Lindsey Buckingham-produced albums. While you can still spot Christine McVie's voice, this record leans more towards the Welch/Kirwan influence. That said, I reckon it's the most likely to appeal to fans of the post-1975 Fleetwood Mac era. It's gained more appreciation from recent listeners than it did from its 70s audience, even if it sold enough to keep the band afloat. My copy is an original, and it took me ages to clean it up. It's a joy to listen to, with a lot of atmosphere and top-notch production. A true hidden treasure.
