Tina's top studio album, hands down. That's all I've got to say; if you're into her, grab it now.
Upon close inspection, there's a bit of pixelation in the album cover and inner sleeve images compared to the original, and this version is a tad darker. The inner sleeves tend to create a lot of static for the records. However, the sound quality is just as I remember from the original LPs, with no clicks, pops, or noise. I believe the three-song-per-side format works well for this album. I even noticed some instruments in "You Can't Stop Me Loving You" that I hadn't picked up on before. It's a Rhino.com exclusive in the US, but I imagine it'll be available for a while.
An absolutely amazing re-release in terms of audio quality.
I'm absolutely delighted and thrilled with the audio quality of this fresh 2LP version. This is one of those new re-releases that makes me feel like we're in a vinyl renaissance. The competition is pushing everyone to do amazing things, and the classic craft of vinyl production is still going strong. I wholeheartedly endorse this release!
Couldn't agree more with blueneon81 - incredible sound quality, truly surprising given that it's a copy of a copy. I'm clueless as to how the folks at Melodya pulled it off, but they absolutely nailed it!
