Absolutely adore the album and the book/artwork, but why does it always feel like such a struggle to get the LP in and out of the gatefold cover, even when the 7” isn't in there?!?🤷♂️
This album's tracklist and flow are fantastic, like a top-notch dining experience. The standout track for me is "Bad Habits." When I first heard it as the lead single, I wasn't sure about the whole album and almost didn't buy it. But after giving the full album a listen, I realized that while "Bad Habits" might not have been the best choice for the first single, it plays a crucial role. It's like a palate cleanser, refreshing my ears so I could fully enjoy the rest of the album. Now I'm on repeat. I'd highly recommend this album to anyone who hesitated because of "Bad Habits." Don't sweat it. 👍🏻👍🏻😊
Perhaps I'm just fortunate, but my record is absolutely fantastic. There isn't a single hint of static, and no skips whatsoever. The mastering is phenomenal too!! If I could give more than five stars, I definitely would.
My unit falls short, to say the least - excessive bass, the odd left/right channel imbalance others have mentioned, and the most annoying part is the harshly clipped, seemingly at around three separate stages, highs.
My version isn't as bad as some folks have mentioned. It's quite a quiet pressing. The mix is really bass-heavy. Haven't had any issues with the left/right channel sweep that others complained about. It's not my favorite album, but I'm glad I picked it up.
