This is a stunning vinyl release with fantastic music. The record itself is flawless, with a perfectly flat surface, substantial thickness, and labels that are perfectly aligned. The spindle hole is just the right size. In terms of audio quality, the record delivers a rich, dynamic sound that's been mixed to be loud but not overly compressed. Ben's vocals are prominent, yet they blend harmoniously with the instruments. The orchestrations are reminiscent of Phil Spector's work (back when he was just a genius, not a notorious criminal), and overall, this is an absolutely superb album. If you're a fan of Ben Harper, you'll love it.
Here's how I rate this album (1-5): tunes (it's personal) / sound quality / vinyl copy 5/4.5/4
Excellent pressing, records lay flat, perfectly centered with minimal surface noise. Audio quality is superb, great channel separation, expansive sound stage with uncompressed highs and lows offering excellent depth. Outstanding job and great value!
