Here's the Byrds' classic lineup of Roger McGuinn, Clarence White, Skip Battin, and Gene Parsons on this album. It's my all-time favorite Byrds record, even if critics don't seem to appreciate it. I've always had a special place in my heart for this one. It includes a gorgeous rendition of Jackson Browne's early track 'Jamaica Say You Will'. C'mon folks, show it some love!
An album featuring the late, great Clarence White is just fine by me.
Have always favored this cleaner mix over the original's heavy-handed approach. Thrilled to finally snag a vinyl copy as well. ππ
I gotta agree with what Harvesttime1966 said about this one. Grabbed a cheap copy from the bargain bin and it's in fantastic shape, sounds amazing. The tunes are great, the playing is spot on, and the sound quality is top-notch. Don't listen to the haters, they don't know what they're talking about.
