On a whim, I purchased this as an Amazon deal, not really familiar with Nick's music. I'm astonished I went 53 years without discovering his incredible work. Since then, I've bought all three of his albums, read about his heartbreaking life, and now this is among my all-time favorite albums. Each one is brilliant, but Bryter Layter stands out as my top pick. The quality is breathtaking—lush, warm, with fantastic dynamics, much like the songwriting and production. I also own FLAC digital copies, but they lack something compared to this vinyl pressing, which was cut directly from the original analogue master tapes. Truly a beautiful tribute to a remarkably talented young man who deserved far more acclaim in his brief life.
