I concur with the review above, it's fantastic! Mine had a hint of surface noise on Downstairs, Robot Voices, and Intentions. But it's barely there, and the splatter effect is amazing!
The surface noise is quite noticeable (but hey, it's a picture disc). Apart from that, the sound quality is flawless, absolutely adore this album!
I'm really happy with my vinyl copy overall. There are a few tiny crackles during the quieter parts, but they're not too noticeable. Plus, it's kinda cool that some tracks have different mixes compared to the streaming versions (I read that "Drum Show" has different drum fills, and "Garbage" has a longer intro on vinyl), which makes this a neat little collectible. I'm glad I got this one!
Awesome album, the sound is huge and crystal clear but my copy has a bit of a hum in the right channel on the B side, 17444 / 18940 by the way
An amazing continuation of their last album, “Breach” wraps up the conceptual tale that kicked off with “Blurryface”. It’s been quite the ride, and this record is a perfect finale. There are countless standout tracks here, but I’ll always highlight “Downstairs” as the album’s peak. That track packs a punch and is crafted so exquisitely (pure 21P). Musically, it occasionally takes me back to the “Regional At Best” era. Funny enough: I didn’t plan on attending, but I ended up going to the listening party in Brisbane with my daughter, the day before the album dropped. It was a delightful experience to hear the songs for the first time, particularly among so many other 21P enthusiasts.
