I've got the red one from Walmart. Honestly, some tracks sound way worse than their digital versions. It's not my equipment, I know that much. Certain songs, like "The Judge", sound like the mic's maxed out the whole time, making them pretty tough to listen to. At least I snagged it on a deep discount and paid half price. Super disappointing, though. I'm even thinking twice about buying more records from this label. It's like my experience with pobox, some tracks on good headphones really show how poorly this was made. I can't say it any other way, this album is a letdown. This tech isn't exactly cutting-edge, so how'd they mess it up so bad?
Gorgeous release! Would've been nice if there was a way to separate the book from the vinyl sleeve, so they could be kept apart, but it's fine!
Gorgeous release! Would've been nice if there was some kind of divider between the book and the vinyl sleeve, so they could be kept separate, but it's fine!
It's challenging to spot any scratches, but my second LP has some of the most intense surface noise I've come across. There's no popping or clicking, just extremely loud surface noise.
awful audio quality. ruined by a clueless mastering engineer. the compression is painful, like being ripped apart by low-quality mp3s. what were they thinking? the music's great and should've been given the dynamic range it deserves
